It’s August and summer is almost over. Our snowbirds will be back soon and everyone will get busy with the myriad of events to choose from “in season.” But, there are still a few things going on before fall sweeps in.
Downtown Sebring’s monthly event is “Summer Spectacular” on Friday, August 9. It will feature a back to school and end of summer celebration with carnival games on the Circle, kids activities lining the streets, face painting, carfts and children’s games.? The?Annual Grape Stomp Festival at Henscratch Farms is coming up on August 10th! Rememer the?”I Love Lucy” episode where she and Ethel are in the grape tub stomping grapes? Yes, you can do that at the Grape Stomp Festival.?Then you can buy the wine from the event with your own personalized label, after it has fermented and gotten ready for consumption or bragging rights. ?
